Wall stretch: This is a simple exercise that you can do at any place. Stand against a wall at a distance of 2 feet and place your hands on the wall above your shoulder height.

If you place your hand too much above, then you will not have enough support to stand straight. If this is so, move closer to the wall. Now, stretch your hands up and stay in position.

Raise your heel up from the floor and hold the pose for a count of two. Lower the heel and the hands. Relax for a count of three. Repeat this ten times.

Pelvic shift: Do this lying on the ground facing the ceiling. Keep your hands beside you and bring your legs near your buttocks by folding your legs. Now, raise your abdomen up in the air so that your body is straight.

Hold the pose for a count of thirty. Lower your body to the ground. Repeat this exercise ten times.

Dry land swim: This is effective in making the spine supple and thus increasing the height. Lie on the ground facing the ground. Raise yourself off the ground so that the hands and feet are raised.

Move your hands and feet as if you were swimming. Do this for ten times. Relax and lie down on the ground. Repeat this thrice.

Cobra stretch: This helps increase the spine length. Lie down facing the ground. Raise your shoulders off the floor by placing your palms down on the ground below your shoulder.

Push on the floor and raise your chest in the air. Raise your head to look up at the ceiling. This is like a snake looking and stretching up. Now, relax and lie down on the ground. Repeat this ten times.

Bow down pose: This is a standing exercise good for stretching the spine. Stand with the hands beside you and inhale deeply. Then, bend down and grab your ankles. Hold the pose, breathe out and wait. Inhale and come up to a standing position again. Repeat this ten times.

Hanging exercise: This is the best exercise for increasing the height. The weight of the body will pull the spine and stretch it. You must use your hands at shoulder width to hang from the bar. Or, you can hang from any tree branch. Do this for ten minutes each day.

Table top: This is done by lying on the ground facing the ceiling. Bring the legs up near your buttocks. Move your hands up near your shoulder and push on the ground to raise your chest up in the air.

Push your buttocks too high up in the air. Keep your body level and make your core tight. Hold the pose for a count of ten. Then, drop back to lying position. Repeat the exercise 5-6 times.

Hopping on one leg: This is a standing position exercise. Stand on both legs and raise your hands in the air. Lift your one leg from the ground and hop on the other leg. Do eight hops and then change legs. Do the cycle three times.
