Hyperpigmentation occurs when a person develops darker patches on the skin, such as age spots or melasma.
Everyone has a desire to have beautiful skin, and this is possible through good skin care. One of the problems many people have is hyperpigmentation.
This makes the person look ugly and unattractive. It is necessary to rectify this situation as soon as possible. Here, we discuss what skin pigmentation is and how one may get rid of hyperpigmentation.
What is pigmentation and blemishes?
Put simply, it is coloring of the skin. The skin pigment is called melanin and this gives color to your skin. Skin begins to look unhealthy and people stop talking to you. Melanocytes, the skin pigment-producing cells get damaged but this is only in small patches.
These can be of various sizes. We need a normal amount of pigment but due to the damage, they begin to produce more pigment in some areas alone. This area alone shows darkening. This is more of a cosmetic problem and does not have medical significance attached to the treatment.
