Add more protein to your meal in the form of skinless chicken and turkey, scallops with egg-whites, protein shakes, fortified milk, gelatine, and evaporated milk. You can add shrimp and tuna if you like.

More protein helps to keep the energy level up. Plain Greek yogurt has good protein content and less sugar. Another choice is cottage cheese but one must be careful.

They contain more sodium. So, you must read the label before you buy to see that the sodium content is less.

2. Probiotic food

These superfoods are recommended not only for those suffering from gastroparesis but also for those with normal health. Probiotic food contains bacteria that have a good effect on your brain, body, and heart.

Yogurt is on top of this list. It helps those with a fickle digestive system. Tempeh is the next top probiotic food. It is a fermented soybean food item. It has a nutty and earthy flavor.

The bacteria help make some Vitamin B12 that is not ordinarily found in other kinds of soybean products. It helps stabilize the symptoms of gastroparesis.

3. Choose an herbal diet

While choosing the herbs for your salad or side dish, pick those with nutritional value so it suits your health. Parsley is great for hypertension due to the Vitamin A and Vitamin C, antioxidants and apigenin, a chemical that shows anticarcinogenic properties.

Or, you can use it along with the seasoning in your dinner or lunch. This adds taste and gives the digestive system the boost it needs. The gastroparesis improves significantly.

For those who do not use turmeric with their food, just add one teaspoon of turmeric powder to three spoons of honey. Mix it well and have it.

You need to treat the underlying cause for the gastroparesis before you begin the treatment. Suppose the vagus nerve is not working properly due to the sugar levels, first bring the sugar under control. Medications to make the stomach muscles contract at regular intervals is used for people who do not respond to the home remedies.
